Gould staites that the 1,200 Bridge Construction on Aroostook Valley Kail way sj-stem is, in his opinion, the best invention ever introduced intoeleetric railroad operation. The rolling stock includes one heavy locomotive ear equippedwith four 75 motors, guaranteed to furnish 100 per cent,overlead tand capable of handling fifteen to twenty cars offreight; also a number of passenge^r cars equipped with four motors, which handle seven or eight cars of freight. The general manager of the system and the moving spirit inthe construction of the electric road is Mr. A. E. Gould, ofJresque Isle, Me. Mr. W. M. Jones is president.
