Anthony McCall, right, UH-60 Blackhawk crew chiefs, assigned to Charlie Company, 1-169 General Support Aviation Battalion, Oklahoma Army National Guard, conduct pre-flight checks on the external rescue hoist prior to leaving to support relief efforts for Hurricane Florence Sept. 13. Seven Soldiers from the aviation unit trained in Helicopter Search and Rescue operations will conduct swift water rescues using dynamic and static hoists to rescue stranded citizens after the hurricane subsides.
