Archibald Campbell Tait (1811 – 1882) was an Archbishop of Canterbury in the Church of England. He reorganised the church's administration and organisation and attended Parliament frequently. The modification of the terms of clerical subscription (1865), the new lectionary (1871), the Burials Act (1880) were largely owing to him.
