Helmet of a Prussian infantry officer known as the Pickelhaube (Pickelhelm) dated from 1914-1915 on display in the Armistice Museum in the Forest of Compiègne (Forêt de Compiègne) near Compiègne in France. The Armistice Museum is located on the ground of the Glade of the Armistice where the Armistice of 11 November 1918 that ended the First World War was signed.
