Thailand's Parliament votes 13th July to decide if the leader of The Move Forward party, Pita Limjaroenrat, who won the most seats in May's election, can become the new Prime Minister, ending 9 years of rule by former army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha. The election commission, accusing Pita of breaking election rules by owning shares in a media company, has referred the case to the constitutional court, recommending the suspension of Pita as a Member of Parliament.
