Lancashire, UK. 11th May, 2017. After a hike of 3 miles into the Bowland Fells from Dunsop Bridge, Lancashire, bird watchers are rewarded with a very rare sight in England, an adult male Pallid Harrier blown off course by Easterly winds on it's way to Kazakhstan after wintering in Africa. Adult males are exceptionally rare in the UK but one was seen near Hornsea in East Yorkshire last Sunday morning and this is likely to be the same bird. Credit: John Eveson/Alamy Live News
