Master tailor and Blogger Thomas Mahon trained in London’s Savile Row and has now has a presence in London's Savile Row with his main workshop at Warwick Hall just outside Carlisle in Cumbria where he does most of his cutting. He has been an independent taylor since 2001 and established his own label ‘English Cut’. He is down on Savile Row most weeks, seeing clients. Besides London, he regularly travels to New York, Chicago, Atlanta and San Francisco which he does every three months. After more than twenty years experience of hand tailoring in Savile Row he offers his customers the traditions and expertise of the finest bespoke tailoring available today with his suites starting at just over £2,000 and go up to about £3,500. Clients have included Prince Charles, Chief Ralph Lauren Designer John Vizzone, Bryan Ferry, and many otheres but for reasons of discretion is not willing to divulge more contemporary names. His blogg at has become extremely popular because of the wealth of information and gossip on all matters connected to tailoring. Thomas is becoming a celebrity in his own right having had many articles written about him and radio and TV interviews both in the UK and US. The New York Times, Business Week, and The Guardian are among those who have featured this top tailor and his made-to-measure suites BBC Radio 4 featured him on the Shop Talk programme. One of the main reasons for this international reputation is his very lively and informative blogg site where he discusses issues, gives advice and keeps a diary of his activities on both sides of the pond.
