A cupmarked rock at Culnakirk near Drumnadrochit which we were shown by the lovely Marj of Highland Celtic Art in the rain! These rocks were chipped into the rock during the Neolithic through to the Early Bronze Age and given the tough nature of the rocks found on the northern side of the Great Glen this must have been some undertaking. As to what and where this particular stone originally I have my thoughts and I am going to pop my archaeologist hat back on again and do some investigating sometime soon!
