Cars must be close to original production specification; run in ‘road-going’ trim, with wings and lights; and run on ordinary pump fuel. Some degree of modification is permitted, and Specials may be accepted at the specific invitation of Motor Racing Legends. All the famous pre-War marques are represented: Alfa Romeo, Alvis, Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Frazer Nash, Lagonda, MG, Riley, Talbot and a host of others. The Pre-War Sports Car Series races are usually 40 or 45 minutes long, with compulsory pit stop and optional driver change. Two-driver entries are always encouraged, but certainly not mandatory. The 2022 season of races commences with the famous ‘Mad Jack’ race held at the Donington Historic Festival. Named in honour of Richard ‘ Mad Jack’ Shuttleworth winner of the first ever Donington Grand Prix in 1935. A welcome appearance at Snetterton in Norfolk beckons for our exciting new event in July followed by the Classic at Silverstone where the BRDC 500 race is one of the highlights of the weekend. We conclude in early October with another fantastic and rare opportunity to race during the Spa Six Hours Meeting. The fabulous Ardennes circuit is a real ‘bucket list’ opportunity not to be missed, Motor Racing Legends are the only race organiser that allow the opportunity for Pre-war cars to race on this fabled turf.
