Volhynia Slaughter - mass murder (ethnic cleansing, genocide, made by Ukrainian nationalists (the active often supported by the local Ukrainian population to the Polish minority of Volhynia Second Republic (in during the war, the Reich Commissariat belonging to Ukraine), during the occupation of lands of the Second Republic by the Third Reich, in the period from February 1943 to February 1944. Murder victims whose culmination was in the summer of 1943, were the Poles, in a much smaller scale, Russians, Ukrainians, Jews, Armenians, Czechs and representatives of other nationalities living in Volhynia.
