At a meeting of the teachers of the Sunday-school, FebruaryII, 1855, it was decided to open a mission school in thenorthern part of the city. The outcome was The JamesStreet Branch School. This work was begun February 25th,with an enrollment of thirty-three scholars and a sufficientnumber of teachers for thorough class arrangement.
