Normal salaries of full-timeprofessors have been increased as follows:$4,000 salaries to $5,000; $4,500 to $6,000;$6,000 to $7,000; and a few to $8,000. Columbia adopted a similar budget for is now driving for a $15,000,000 en-dowment fund to ensure a living wage for herprofessors.
