Octagonal barrel in 17 mm calibre, slightly swamped near the muzzle, with an iron front and rear sight on top, at the breech an illegible brass-lined mark as well as another mark eagle/"VK"(?). Powder pan with flash guard and pivotable lid. Long rectangular lockplate marked "SVL" and cloverleaf/"GK". Bright walnut full stock with iron trigger guard as well as ramrod thimble and nosepiece made of engraved bone. Wooden ramrod with bone tip.
