Inside the Arcibasilica di San Giovanni in Laterano (Archbasilica of St. John in Lateran), Rome, Italy. At the head of the central nave you can see an elaborate Gothic baldachin, which stands over the papal altar. It is said to contain the relics of the heads of Sts Peter and Paul. In front a double staircase leads down to the confessio and the Renaissance tomb of Pope Martin V.
