A M47 Patton tank and Korean War-era vintage F-84F jet fighter on display at a VFW Post in West Chicago, Illinois. The tank was the second named for the World War II general and was produced between 1951-53 with over 6,000 units produced. The F-84 was the first production fighter aircraft to use in-flight refueling and the first fighter capable of carrying a nuclear weapon. In all, 7,524 F-84 units were built. The aircraft was the principal fighter-bomber used during the Korean War.
