NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (Nov. 19, 2015) Damage Controlman 3rd Class Ricky Gerhart, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., performs maintenance on an aqueous film forming foam station on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently undergoing an extended planned incremental maintenence availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
