The purpose of this society is to further the interests ofthe Pharmics, by affording an opportunity for general discussionof subjects which are not brought up in class, as: advertisingand manufacture of synthetic drugs, laws governing phar-macy, etc. Fach member of the society is expected to take some activepart during the year. One of the most interesting and instructivefeatures is the impromptu debates. Illustrated lectures on suchsubjects as the manufacture of vaccine virus, antitoxin, and thelike are from time to time given by the professors and prominentpharmacists of the State.
