A Remington New Model Army Revolver, Serial number 20715. Made in 1867. The lands and grooves of the rifling in the eight inch barrel are well defined, but the barrel is a bit rough. The two line standard inscription on the top of the barrel is shallow. The entire weapon is gilt and completely covered with elaborate, fine vine patterns. Ebony grip panels. The gilding is mostly present, if somewhat rubbed.
