BRANTFORD ELECTRIC RAILWAY- This road is principally owned and operated by theCanadian General Electric Co., and has been in opera-tion as an electric road since 31st of March, 1893. Theofficers are well-known financial railroad and electricmen, viz.: Pres., Frederic Nicholls ; Vice-Pres., H. ; , W. S. Andrews; Board of. Brantford Electric Railway—Mohawk Park. Directors, Robt. JafFray, Hugh Ryan, Geo. A. Cox, Brock and Thos. Long. The road is under themanagement of Mr. Jas. T. Madden who has been inthe railroad business for a number of years having- helda responsible position with the C. P. R. in connectionwith the construction of their line between Sudbury andSault Ste. Marie. Mr. Madden is ably assisted in themanagement by his accountant, Mr. Jno. Murrode. The Indian City, with the Grand River bending roundit, the picturesque scenery on its banks, and MohawkPark, through which it flows, delights even the travellerwho has climbed mountains, travelled through rockyMuskoka or languished in the salty breezes of the sea-side, to come and spend a few months in this prettytown with its hospitable people. Much of Brantfords popularity as a summer resort isdue to the Brantford Street Railway Co. Last springthey purchased Mohawk Park—on which they havealready spent $12
