This is alsothe only door of communication betweenthe treasurers and auditors quarters. The main office of the auditor is sepa-rated from the public space by a largecounter, and has a large book vault. Thedeputys office is in the northwest record, statisticians, bookkeepers,. windows are the treasurers and attor-neys offices with ante-room and passageconnecting with the tax collectors office,and the general office of the clerks of thedepartment. The treasurers office hastwo private stairways and a private liftconnecting with additional storage andvault room in the basement. Still furtherto the west is the room for the treasu-rers bookkeepers, connected with itsbook vault. The auditors quarters occupy the re-mainder of the southwest corner. Allvisitors of the auditor and treasurer enterthe public space of the auditor either MAIN floor, containinij olJiiiS whichthe public in general must Collector, Assessor.
