Le Passais : North of the department of Mayenne and south-western department of Orne is the country's transition, a space on the edge of Normandy, Maine and Brittany. Some scholars believe that "Le Passais"(The country's transition) provided the framework for the production of certain texts of the Arthurian legend. This is the hypothesis Bansard-Payen: "Le Passais" as the land of Lancelot of the Lake.
