Charles Allen is a heavy mobile equipment mechanic working on the LVSR AMKR line at Production Plant Barstow, Marine Depot Maintenance Command. Allen checks the operability of the lifting boom of the cargo model of the AMKR18, Feb. 14. The truck can haul up to a 20-foot cargo container, a troop carrier or a flatbed for transporting vehicles. It can also pull stuck vehicles out of situations.
