A young boy smears his hand with honey to demonstrate that the bees swarming his lemonade stand are not dangerous.
The lemonade stand at the Common Ground Fair was covered in bees. To show potential customers that the bees were only interested in the honey used to sweeten the drink and would not sting anyone, this boy poured honey over his hand and allowed the bees to eat it. He did not get stung while I was there.
