INDIAN OCEAN (May 2, 2022) Damage Controlman Fireman Nicholas Rozanski, right, from Huntington Woods, Mich., relays firefighting efforts to Damage Controlman 3rd Class Tyler Schwinghammer, middle, from Otsego, Minn., while combating a simulated fire on the flight deck aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) during an aviation firefighting drill. Gridley is on a scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
