Personal: Lived in British Guiana till G monthsago, when she came to New York. Otherwise negative. Previous: Measles inchildhood, whooping cough in childhood, dysentery in childhood, dyspepsiafor 6 months. Present: For one week not well, caught cold, tired and easilyfatigued. Two days ago a chill, headache and fever. The same afternoon asecond chill. In bed since onset. Complains only of fever, headache, prostra-tion, anorexia and constipation. On admission, T. 102°, P. 102, R. 20. Course: Continuous fever, 100°-102°-103°, rather irregular in type. Feverin all lasted three months. Pulse rather rapid, 80-100-120. Respiration, last weeks, 30-40. Gradual loss of flesh and strength and increasing comfortable and cheerful. Physical Examination: Entirely negative at beginning, ex
