Crab fossil. Rock containing the fossilised remains of an Eryon Arctiformis crab from the Jurassic period (around 200 to 145 million years ago). Eryon Arctiformis is an extinct genus of the horseshoe crab (family Eryonidae). This specimen is from Jurassic sediments at Solnhofen, Bavaria, Germany, and measures 180 mm in length.
