Non Exclusive: KHARKIV, UKRAINE - DECEMBER 6, 2022 - Relatives grieve at the coffin with the body of Ukrainian children's author Volodymyr Vakulenko killed by Russian invaders during the temporary occupation of Kharkiv Region during the funeral ceremony at the Saint Demetrius Church of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine. Volodymyr Vakulenko, 49, was detained by Russian occupiers in his native Kapytolivka village, Izium district, in March 2022. The writer's body with two Makarov pistol bullets was found in the mass grave in liberated Izium, Kharkiv Region, under the number 319. In late November, his identity was confirmed with a DNA test.
