Multistix urine test. The Multistix urine test strip checks for multiple conditions simultaneously. Each pad changes colour to indicate the concentrations of substances present in the urine. The stick is then fed into an urinalysis machine, which reads off the colours and records the results. The printout (bottom right) states that there are no traces of glucose (GLU), bilirubin (BIL), ketones (KET), proteins (PRO), blood (BLD) or leucocytes (LEU) in the urine.
