Street of Linares de la Sierra, Sierra de Aracena, Huelva, Andalucia, Spain. Following the zigzagging route of the HU8105 that joins the towns of Alájar and Aracena we find one of the most beautiful towns in Huelva, and why not say it, in all of Andalusia. It forms part of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park, where the land folds and gains height, where the border of Andalusia ends, and Extremadura begins, where the eye can almost see the Portuguese Alentejo to the west. Its whitewashed houses are surrounded by immense chestnut, holm and cork oak forests, ideal for breeding black-footed sparrows. In its steep streets there are stairways, viewpoints and a pavement at the entrances of the houses decorated with two-tone stone that recall the tradition of Roman mosaics.
