Stunned Derek Hawkins (right) and Ben Bartlett have blasted a tight-fisted council for refusing to let them give away free hot dogs to footballers’ at a charity tournament. Youth worker Derek and student Ben, 18, planned to give the food away at the five-a-side games held at Lloyds Recreation Ground, Marchwood, Hants. But Marchwood Parish Council claim the hot dogs, left over from last year’s tournament, belong to them and have refused to allow them to be dished out. Pic Mike
