Soldiers assigned to 1st Armored Division await the entrance of the University of Texas El Paso’s Miners football team on the field at UTEP’s Military Appreciation Night Oct. 27. The Iron Soldiers are honored every year at the event and it continues to signify the bonds of the US Army and its surrounding communities.
