London, England - 2012; It is ten years since the first hire bikes of London's green cycle scheme appeared on the streets of London. Whilst the cycles are still known as 'Boris Bikes' after the (then) incompetent Mayor London, Boris Johnson (now an equally useless prime minister), he actually had very little to do with them, For the first years of operation, they were sponsored by Barclays Bank and appeared in this nice blue livery. Here we see a bike station in Southwark Bridge Road.
