In some places housesand trees are enliiely covered. It is very interesting and satisfy-ing to the peculiar way in which some of these treeshave adai)ted themselves to the new conditions. After the firstiUtack of the dunes some of the trees that were not entirelycovered developed new Ioots and kept on living. In some placesones can be seen that have grown as many as three different setsoi roots. It is beautiful to think of anything struggling understich adverse conditions. The animal as well as the plant world has sand dunes tocompete with. We are starting in a new term now. Vv^e have be-come adjusted to many new situations in the past one, but th still be several things that will need adaptation. We are}.\iven the advantage of a fresh start again. Lets grit our teethand tight our own sand dunes to the best of our ability
