It is sometimes bleached with chlorinatedlime. When the different varieties are examined by the microscope,they appear to consist of oval or more or less ovateparticles, many of which are more or less brokenin sago meal; in common sago, they are somewhatmore broken and less regular in their shape ; andin pearl sago they are ruptured,—peculiarities whichare considered to be produced
