Ecce Homo by Mateo Cerezo (1637-1666). The painting depicts the moment when Pontius Pilate presents a beaten and whipped Jesus to the crowd with the words Ecce Homo (Behold the man). Jesus has the crown of thorns on his head and a red or purple robe (to mock the claim to be king of the jews). This version, however, shows just a portrait of the beaten and humiliated Jesus.
