The Ecumenical Orthodox Patriarch, his Holiness, Mr. Vartholomaios, in a memorial ceremony, at the Patriarchal cemetery in Valukli (also known as "Balukli" or "Balikli") monastery, Istanbul. It is a Greek-Orthodox monastery, in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. It is a monastery that was well known since the early Byzantine years, mostly because of a spring with "holy" water, which you can still see today. It is also known for an interesting legend, connected with the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottomans.
