Grenoside Sword Dancers perform their annual 'Traipse' around the village held on the first Saturday after the first Sunday in January. The dance features a symbolic mock-beheading of the Captain who wears a foxskin cap. Seen here performing at Middleton Green Farm. Grenoside was once a separate village but now a suburb of Sheffield.
