Cook Serves Chicken Maqluba - Upside Down Chicken - a favourite Jordanian meal


Maqluba ( Maqlooba) is a traditional Palestinian, Jordanian, Iraqui, Lebanese and Syrian dish (served throughout the Levant). It consists of meat or chicken, rice, and fried vegetables cooked in a pot and then flipped upside down on to the serving dish - hence the name maqluba, which literally translated is "Upside-down.
