Patrick Fitzpatrick, NHB director and Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Bremerton commanding officer, meeting with Navy Nurse Corps staff and civil service registered nurses in Labor & Delivery, Ambulatory Procedure Unit, Urgent Care Clinic. They also stopped in Family Medicine, where Fligge heard about the impact of nursing shortages and hiring issues in the region. “I have heard at every location on the concerns of hiring, which will be a focus once DHA has oversight to standardize the process. Everyone is working together to take care of their patients being double and triple hatted at times, with limited time, money and people constraints. I thank everyone for what you do, every day,” shared Fligge (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs
