04. 07. 2014 Henley Royal Regatta ,Henley On Thames Oxfordshire EnglandSir Matthew Pinsent, CBE displays a stunning book of photographs to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Henley Royal Regatta at his book -signing during the the young Matthew Pinscent ,with Tim Foster, Steve Redgrave,James Cracknell ,the Olympic winners in the Coxless 4's, Sydney 2000Pinsent, a sixteen times Henley medallist, also wrote the introduction to Henley Royal Regatta: A Celebration In in discusses the history of the event from its beginning in 1839 through to present day, and includes many of his own personal experiences and insights into the worldÕs most famous regatta. The book, which visually charts the history of the regatta, is based largely on the vast archive of Getty images and features many pictures that have never been seen before. Together with images from the HRR archive and more modern illustrations from photographer James Finlay, they form a moving tribute to all those who have competed or worked at Henley over 175 years.
