She previously served in hostels at Sarafand, Palestine and Ismailia, Egypt. Thousands of women of many nationalities are now serving in the Middle East, and the YWCA realising the need for women's clubs and hostels, have opened many premises in various parts of Egypt and Palestine where needs of servicewomen are specially catered of the hostels are erected near women's camps and provide comfortable reading and writing rooms, besides a restaurant, where the girls can spend their off duty time. Others can be found at various leave centres in Egypt and Palestines. These cater exclusively for girls on leave. They are lavishly furnished and many amenities are Ismailia, for instance, the YWCA provides accommodation for married servicewomen and their husbands, and in all the hosteld girls can take their male friends for a meal and a quiet types of sport are arranged at the hostels and also trips to places of interest ai the vicinity British Army, Polish Army, Polish Armed Forces in the West, Polish Corps, II, Young Women's Christian Association [YWCA]
