Town of St Andrews, Scotland. Artistic silhouetted view of the historic St Andrews Castle ruins. The scene was captured from the north range, with the castle courtyard in the foreground, looking south-west towards the main range and gate. The castle is managed by Historic Scotland and is open to the public. This photograph has been produced by merging three differently exposed images of the same scene. All of which were captured at approximately the same time - on a tripod mounted camera – and digitally processed to produce the resulting artistic rendition of the scene.
