PACIFIC OCEAN (NOV. 4, 2014) – CF-03 and CF-05, both F-35C Lightning II carrier variant Joint Strike Fighters, an F/A-18 Super Hornet, and a C-2A Greyhound conduct flight operations aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The F-35 Lightning II Pax River Integrated Test Force from Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23 is currently conducting initial at-sea testing aboard Nimitz.
