Hypopy- gium not large, brownish pruinose, with a somewhat large, roundish apical impression. Legs yellow, femora with a broad black ring, tibiae a little infuscated about the middle and last tarsal joint brownish; all femora shining below and behind; the legs short-haired, femora with a faint, longish, pale ciliation behind, most devel- oped on middle femora; all femora with a double row of very small spinules below at apex, on middle femora on the two thirds. Wings a little brownish tinged, stigma brown, longer than the next costal segment, middle cross- vein a little before the middle of the discal cell. Halteres brownish yellow. Female. Frons somewhat broad, broadest in the middle, grey, black above; antennae with the third joint longer rostrate than in the male; abdomen shining, with grey lateral spots; hypopygium. Fig. 20.
