Prediction of Agrippa's happiness, Theodoor Koning, After Jacobus Buys, 1783 print The fascinated Agrippa (the grandson of Herod the Great) peculating a tree with an owl. A German fellow prisoner points to the Owl, and says that Agrippa will soon get his freedom back and meet a happy life. The German also says that Agrippa only has five days to live when the owl appears again. This print is an illustration in the eighth chapter of the eighteenth book by 'All the works of Flavius Josephus'. Amsterdam paper engraving
