The river also affords direct tidewater facilities for receiving andshipping the product to any part either at home or abroad. The capac-ity of the works is as follows: At Navassa station, a total of 60,000tons of fertilizers can be annually manufactured, and the Almont fac-tory can turn out about 30,000 tons each year.
