Col. Matthew Heintzelman, 302nd Mission Support Group commander, addresses 302 MSG Airmen for the first time as their leader during an assumption command ceremony Jan. 6, 2024 at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. Heintzelman challenged his new team to strive for excellence in themselves as he explained his expectations as a leader. The 302 MSG is responsible for six squadrons consisting of 450 reserve members across the force support, aerial port, logistics readiness, security Forces, civil engineering and communications disciplines.
