One of the most prominent features off the Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral), in Passau, Bavaria, Germany, is its gilt pulpit. Crowned by the golden figures of Ecclisia, the symbol of the Christian church, it wraps around one of the massive pillars in the central part of the cathedral. It was designed in Vienna, circa 1720.
