Nov 7, 2004 - Worshippers tie Omikuji (lucky papers) to a stall at Senso-Ji temple (Kinryū zan Sensō-ji) in Tokyo's historic district Asakusa in Taito ward. The temple was built in 628, making it the oldest temple in Tokyo. It is dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon known as Guan Yin or the Goddess of Mercy.
