The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of a chalice on a stem, in which stands an ear of corn that bends to the right and to the left. Behind both ears of corn runs a long, curling branch that ends in a bunch of grapes on both sides of the chalice. Between the successive patterns with the chalice are connected to each other by two much larger curved ears of corn that are connected to each other with a ribbon. The motifs are connected by a round grid ground:
